Senior Polymer Chemist
Cannon Instrument
David received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Polymer Science at the University of Akron. His research included the characterization of polymers by dilute solution viscosity, laser light scattering, size exclusion chromatography, field flow fractionation, and rheology. Dr. Trowbridge also collaborated with corporate sponsors of the Institute of Polymer Science through projects at the Institute’s Applied Research Group dealing with physical testing, failure analysis, processing, and molecular characterization.
He continued his research for 17 years at the Corporate Research Center and the Chemical Division of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company with a focus on the characterization of new and production polymers.
David joined Cannon Instrument Company (CIC) in 2004 to provide technical guidance for the development of laboratory instruments and their applications.
